Welcome to my new website, an ever-evolving collection of ideas, discoveries, opportunities, and adventures for God’s girls ready to take Him at His word. You’re invited to join me and my friends as we explore life at the intersection of God’s love and promises and our everyday, 24/7 reality.
My life and reality seem to change all the time. I can imagine that’s the truth for your life as well. Yet our Lord remains the same: sovereign, good, and loving. May this website and its resources be a reminder that we are dearly loved by our Heavenly Father.
Speaking of resources, I hope you’ll check out my Taking Grace Home blog. Building a strong finish and sharing grace with those I encounter while I’m walking home is the central theme to everything I do. I’ll be posting a few times a month and sharing what’s going on in my life including news on my book that’s in progress.
Ernest Hemingway once wrote, “All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence that you know.” So my truest statement to you is: “You are loved and welcomed here!”

Even as we take our first breath our journey back home begins.
Year by year, mile by mile, experience by experience, we get closer and closer towards heaven.
The road home is different for each of us. However, the destination is the same if we’re believers: home with our Father, Heaven. Detours, hazards, and roads under construction can make the road home bumpy and downright unnavigable.
However, even with its challenges, the road home is often marked by evidence of grace—things that encourage us to keep looking and hoping for miracles.
We see God showing up and providing what we need right before we’ve reached the end of our rope. Or, we hear someone else’s grace story, and we’re encouraged by their testimony…their evidence of grace. This is part of what Taking Grace Home is all about.
Like Esther in the Bible, we were born for such a time as this. We are more than enough and we have been given everything we need to succeed as God’s girls. Another goal of Taking Grace Home is to remind all of us of this truth. Now that’s exciting!
Together we’re going to search for pieces of proof of God’s grace. We’ll look for those pieces He scatters along our individual homeward paths like promises and truths that get us through troubled nights; or, the blessing and encouragement of stunning stories that remind us that hope is always there for us.
I can’t wait to share this trek with you watching God showing up in our lives and helping us enjoy a winning homestretch.
